Pavel Grodinin, a candidate for the Russian Communist Party, received 12.59 percent of the votes. Vladimir Zhirinovsky, a candidate for the Russian Liberal Democratic Party, won 6.18 percent, and Ksenia Sobchak received 1.48 percent after counting 71.0 percent.
The head of the Russian National Elections Commission, Ella Bamfilova, said that the attendance rate to the voting until 18:00 Moscow time, 60%.
Bamfilova confirmed that the Russian presidential elections did not witness serious violations, expressing satisfaction with the conduct of the electoral process.
