Iranian Ambassador to Ankara Ibrahim Tahirian expressed his condolences to the victims of the Turkish private plane which crashed on Sunday as it crossed Iranian airspace in the Shahrkard region of western Iran.

“According to the information received, several rescue teams immediately went to the plane’s landing site and the relief operation continues despite bad weather conditions,” the Iranian ambassador said.
A Turkish private jet flying from the UAE city of Sharjah to Istanbul landed Sunday evening in the mountains of the Halan Mountains in Jahar Mahal and Bukhtiari provinces in southwest Iran, where all 11 passengers were killed.
