Tehran, March 5, IRNA- The exceptional exhibition “The Louvre Museum in Tehran
– Treasures of the French national collections” will be inaugurated Monday afternoon in Tehran in the presence of 66 representatives and personalities from 48 countries.
French Minister of Foreign Affairs Jean-Yves Le Drian will inaugurate in a few hours the exceptional exhibition of the Louvre Museum in Tehran at the National Museum of Iran.
In addition to the French leaders including Mr. Jean-Luc MARTINEZ, Chief Executive Officer of the Louvre Museum, ambassadors from various countries including Serbia, Nicaragua, Chile, Senegal, Vatican City, Syria, Tajikistan, Spain Mexico, Greece, Tunisia, Uruguay, Cyprus, Ecuador, Morocco, Armenia, Switzerland, Indonesia and Portugal will also be present.
In addition, many diplomats and delegates from various countries including Algeria, the Netherlands, Malaysia, Kyrgyzstan, Hungary, Bulgaria, Cuba, Austria, Thailand, Bolivia, Great Britain Croatia will also attend the opening ceremony.
Result of an exemplary cooperation between the Louvre Museum and the National Museum of Iran, this exhibition is part of the agreement signed between the Louvre and the ICHHTO (organization in charge of museums and heritage) during President Rohani’s visit to France in January 2016
