The demonstration took place on Monday evening in the village of Karana, west of the capital Manama, in preparation for participation in the partial civil disobedience called by the revolutionary opposition forces.
In the villages of Abu Sbei and Shakhoura, a group of citizens took part in a demonstration that stressed the popular demands and the continuation of the revolution until the achievement of its objectives.
Demonstrators chanted slogans against the ruling authorities and carried pictures of the martyrs.
The official spokesperson of the Islamic National Accord Association (INAA) Mortada al-Sanadi said in a televised speech on Monday, that they are grateful to the original people of Bahrain.
“We see you in every square, town, and area, and the men have gone out, and women have quarreled in the fields of revolution and protests, declaring readiness to commemorate the revolution that began on February 14.” al-Sanadi said.
