Assistant Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Abbas Arajiji

Assistant Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Abbas Arajji said that the United States failed to open Iran’s case in the UN Security Council.
The Iranian deputy foreign minister said the Americans had tried to open Iran’s case in the UN Security Council over the past year, but the attempts had failed so far.
He pointed out that whenever the US administration tried to discuss the Iranian missile program and Yemen and the recent riots inside the country before the Security Council, it led to the imposition of further isolation of the United States, and this is recognized by even the Western media, and said: The United States tried to discuss the riots in the Iran, turning it into a condemnation of Tehran by the Security Council. In fact, that meeting turned to the support of all members of the Security Council for the nuclear agreement and the isolation of America.
“The reactions after that, we have noticed from different countries, and the evidence of this desperate move was not effective,” he said.
“The position of Russia and the rest of the countries in the Security Council was clear this time, and certainly America can not achieve its goals by this trick.
